Set up your RSS reader 

  1. Go to the sign-up page for a MultiSure email address. 

  2. At the bottom you will see Inbox RSS Feed. 
  3. Click on the What is RSS Feed? link after which a pop-up will open explaining RSS.
  4.  The pop-up has a link at the bottom where you can download the RSS Reader. 
  5. Click on it and follow the steps until the reader is installed.
  6.  Log in to your multisure.co.za email account using your email address and password. 
  7. Click on the RSS link at the top of the page. A XML document with lots of code will open. 
  8. On line 5 and 6 of the code it will state something like this eg. eg. “<channel rdf:about="http://www.multisure.co.za/phpmail3/rss.php?inboxfeed&yourname%40multisure.co.za&3d21d9653c8adfb475d62ad524hhh84d&inbox">” 
  9. Compare the text between the quotation marks to the address in the Address Box of your browser where you usually type in your website addresses. If it matches then right click on the text in the Address Box and select “Copy”. 
  10. Now open the RSSReader that you downloaded earlier by clicking on the icon on the Desktop or finding it under “Programs”.
  11.  When the RSSReader program is open, click + Add and paste what you copied earlier into the space entitled “Please enter URL of feed”. 
  12. Click Finish all the way through and your RSSReader should be working now and notifying you of any new emails in your name@multisure.co.za email address box. 
  13. Go to Tools and then Options in your RSSReader screen/ program where you can set how you would like to be notified, how often your mail should be checked, etc.
